A Precocious Legal Entrepreneur
When David graduated from George Washington University with his law degree, most of his classmates were taking positions with large D.C. law firms and positions in government. Following his true calling, David moved to the high desert landscapes of New Mexico after graduation and founded New Mexico Legal Group at the tender age of 26. One year later he had settled his first high profile federal case and his law firm was off to the races. He began to focus his practice in the area of family law and criminal defense, and eventually created three additional law firms, one in Nebraska (his hometown), Colorado (which he thought was super cool and his now home state), and the other in Kansas/Missouri (KC home of Super Bowl champs which he was a high school football legend).
A Marketing Maverick
Having successfully grown his own law firms to eight-figures and over 100 employees, David wanted to share his insights and expertise with other attorneys and law firm owners. He and Co-Founder, Brent Harkins launched Cardinal Concepts to provide “Launch and Earn™,” marketing and operations strategies and campaigns to grow law firms using direct-response, search engine, social media, and email marketing integrated with operational workflows and efficiencies.
A Reluctant (but Effective) Author
In 2016, in response to requests for more information about David’s background, practice philosophy and practice strategy, he wrote the book: Confessions of a Divorce Assassin: What Your Really Need To Know About Your Case, Your Kids and Your Attorney.
